SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed about the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as more info a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support place created for intervention experiences a high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
